A while ago, German tuners over at Mcchip-DKR released a performance upgrade for the Porsche 991.2 Targa 4 GTS. Today, Autowerks Bangkok rolled out a blue Targa 4 GTS with it installed.
The convertible leaves the factory packing 450 hp (336 kW) and 550 Nm (406 lb-ft) of torque under the hood. A simple chip tuning and the addition of the high-end Akrapovic Evolution exhaust proved enough to raise these figures to 540 hp (400 kW) and 650 Nm (478 lb-ft). In other words, the sports car ascended to the performance level of the Porsche 911 991.2 Turbo, only yielding to the latter in terms of torque, and only by 10 Nm / 7 lb-ft at that.
