What you see here is a Porsche 911 Turbo (gen. 964) in a body kit from Japanese tuner Sunburst. Although you could as well call it a new body – after all, everything except the roof, the doors and the pillars has been replaced!
The project subverts your expectations regarding stereotypic JDM tuning with its mandatory bolt-on fenders and other such details. You will not see much hardware on this 911, whether in the region of the flared fenders, the bumpers, the voluminous spoilers, the skirts, the hood cover or the gargantuan rear wing. Everything is smooth, seamless and impeccably stylish.
Admittedly, you can’t call the tuning purely Japanese in origin, because the tuner enlisted the help of Impact Performance and Priola Body Shop. The latter gave the sports car its gorgeous Green Metallic paint you can see here.
The stock wheels made room for Meister Wheels S13P rims measuring 19 inches across with a silver/gold finish. The Brembo brake calipers have been painted yellow to match.
Wrapping up the truly amazing project are new suspension (AST Suspension 5300), a Fabspeed exhaust system, and a complete interior makeover with a state-of-the-art infotainment system and red Recaro leather seats as the main highlights.
