Porsche 911 Turbo S discovered ahead of premiere

Based on the spy shots, the new Turbo S is nearly identical to its lesser peers as far as the looks are concerned.

The front bumper is slightly new, and the rest of the changes are strictly performance-oriented. In particular, the large air intakes in the rear fenders should deliver enough air to the engine, while the enormous rear spoiler should provide sufficient downforce with its flexible angle.

The S will likely ship with the same 3.8-liter turbocharged opposite-six engine, just boosted to 640 hp (477 kW) or so. An eight-speed PDK transmission will send the momentum to both axles.

The premiere, while not officially set at this moment, will most likely happen at the Geneva Motor Show on March 3, with the open-top variant of the car following soon after.
