American tuning studio Singer Vehicle Design announced the end of an unusual project. On the official Internet resource of the company appeared images of the restored Porsche 911 model of 1990. By the way, the design work, which preceded the revival of the rarity, took engineers two years. In parallel, work was carried out on a unique motor for this car, which involved one of the departments Williams Advanced Engineering, associated with the team of Formula 1 Williams and the famous motorist Porsche Hans Metzger. Customer car is a regular customer Singer Vehicle Design - owner of the energy company Scott Blatner.
Just want to note that the concept of the car implies the use of carbon fiber, titanium and magnesium, resulting in the weight of the car does not exceed one ton. Thanks to the use of the CFD hydrodynamics system for bodywork, the designers managed to simultaneously maintain the well-recognized forms of the classic 911, while significantly improving the aerodynamics of the car.
The car received a unique atmospheric 4.0-liter engine, giving out 500 horsepower. It also boasts special shock absorbers from EXE-TC and a light six-speed "mechanics" of Hewland. As an added bonus, there is an adjustable suspension, magnesium 18-inch BBS wheels and Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires, as well as Brembo carbon brakes.
Total production of 75 copies of this car is planned. On their value so far it remains only to guess.
