The tuner team over at Gemballa is working on what they call the Avalanche 4x4, essentially a previous-gen Porsche 911 turned into an extreme off-roader. The live premiere should take place in late 2020.
Based on the images thus far provided, the car will feature a carbon-fiber body with copper-tinted accents, a serious lift kit, meaty off-road tires, a large fixed rear wing, and air intakes on the roof.
The powertrain specs remain unknown, but Gemballa has a high-end power kit on offer for the 991 and 992 series. Called the GTR 8XX Evo-R BiTurbo, it squeezes 818 PS (807 hp, or 602 kW) along with 1,098 Nm (810 pound-feet) of torque out of the sports car’s stock opposite-six engine. Tuned like this, the 911 zaps 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in 2.3 seconds and maxes out at 370 km/h (230 mph).
