Dedicated Porsche tuner Gemballa was responsible for the job. The car is called Gemballa 930 Avalanche and belongs to a series of just 15 units produced in 1986. Back at the time, each one cost the rough equivalent of U.S. $700,000; it remains to be seen how much this one fetches when it finds a new owner.
The car boasts a pristine Pearlescent White paintjob and an original aerodynamic kit by Gemballa, including wide fenders, an enormous rear wing reading ‘Avalanche’, and 17-inch HRE Performance wheels.
The cabin appears less impressive than the exterior, although the abundance of fine black leather still conveys the expected sense of luxury. An older Alpine audio system is installed.
One final highlight resides under the hood cover, where the stock inline-six engine gets RUF treatment for 375 horsepower (280 kilowatts). A five-speed manual transmission sends the momentum to the rear wheels.
