Porsche continues to expand the modern 911 lineup, as evidenced by this hardcore-looking GT3 RS racer spotted testing in Germany.
Compared to the recently captured 911 GT3, the RS boasts a different body kit with plenty of air intakes and a reshaped front splitter. Its swan’s-neck rear wing looks similar to that of the regular GT3, but is larger, consists of two sections and stands on longer supports.
Performance specs haven’t arrived yet, but the talk is that the newcomer would be sharing the powertrain with the 911 (991) Speedster model. This implies a four-liter opposite six-cylinder engine rated above 510 hp (380 kW).
The way things stand now, we would expect the Porsche 911 GT3 and the GT3 RS to debut one shortly after another in early to mid-2021.
