A client of Singer Vehicle Design wanted to participate in serious rallies, including the Dakar Rally and Baja 1000, so he ordered two custom 4WD Porsche 911s.
The U.S.-based tuner worked with two 964-gen models, converting the white one into a hardcore desert racer and the red one into an asphalt-loving rally car. Both ended up with numerous chassis reinforcements, AWD systems with three differentials, dogboxes for transmission, and carbon-fiber bodies. The list goes on to mention long-travel shocks, forged alloy wheels, internal roll cages, and racing-grade instrument clusters.
Powering both cars is a 3.6-liter flat-six engine fitted with dual turbochargers and individual cooling systems for each cylinder row. The nominal output amounts to 456 PS (450 hp / 335 kW) and 570 Nm (420 lb-ft) of torque.
Singer says it will be taking pre-orders for similar builds soon.
