Sports car enthusiasts all over the world have been enjoying Porsches for more than half a century now, with the notable exception of China, which only received the German company’s attention in 2001. This special 911 Turbo S series celebrates two decades on the Chinese market with its Auto Shanghai debut.
The full name goes “911 Turbo S Porsche China 20th Anniversary Edition”, and the coupe will have shot past the 100 km/h (62 mph) mark way before you finish pronouncing it. That is, unless you have been training for the occasion and can read that line in 2.7 seconds.
On the outside, the special version boasts anniversary logos, numbers 20 on its doors, and a striped racing livery. When it ships, buyers will be able to choose their favorite color from Gulf Orange, Star Ruby Red, Mint Green, Viola Purple, and Oslo Blue (shown here).
