800-PS Techart GTstreet R goes from coupe to convertible

German tuner Techart did a thorough job on the Porsche 911 (992) Turbo and Turbo S Coupe improving their power and looks, and now a similar tuning package comes for the convertible 911.

Dubbed the GTstreet R Cabriolet, it will emerge in a run of 87 units outfitted with new turbos and ECU software. As a result, the car will have 800 PS (789 hp / 588 kW) and 950 Nm (701 lb-ft) of torque at its command. This would enable it to reach a top speed of 350 km/h (217 mph). Those who would rather not interfere with the OEM drivetrain can opt for a simpler chip-tuning solution and still get 710 PS (700 hp / 522 kW) alongside 900 Nm (664 lb-ft) of torque.

Sportier suspension springs will drop the ride height by a fixed 25 millimeters (1 inch), but you can choose coilovers instead and adjust the lowering within the range of 5-30 mm (0.2-1.2 inches). Techart Formula VI Centerlock rims sized 20” front and 21” rear will slot in in the arches, and custom hubcaps will be available at a premium.

Exterior novelty boils down to a full carbon-fiber body kit comprising bumper overlays for both ends, wheel arch and side sill extensions, gill-like fender vents, a rear spoiler, and new exhaust finishers. The cabin will enjoy a full overhaul involving Alcantara, natural leather, fabric, and carbon fiber accents.

The whole tuning program will set you back €63,000, and customers must provide their own 911.
