A Porsche 911 geared up for desert can be yours for $235k+

This Porsche 911 Baja is the first in a line of restomods released by Russell Built Fabrication for desert and off-road driving. The bidding has already reached $235,000 USD with a few days remaining on the clock.

The car is a 1991 Porsche Carrera 4 with a pristine record. It features a chrome-molybdenum frame overlaid with custom carbon bodywork that the company claims offers an optimum combination of strength, rigidity and weight.

Despite some visual tweaks, the Baja Edition still preserves the trademark features of the 911 series. It is 75 mm (3 in) longer and 380 mm (15 in) wider than stock thanks to a custom suspension system with around 300 mm (12 in) of travel at the front and 330 mm (13 in) in the back.

Rothsport Road&Race built the engine, tuning the 3.8-liter flat-six to 360 PS (355 hp / 265 kW). The car weighs just 1,270 kg (2,800 lbs).

The interior comes wrapped in Alcantara and sporta carbon accents alongside with Sparco seats and wheel. The rear bench is gone, replaced with a spacious box, and the AC and audio are no longer present.

The seller claims the car is in perfect condition with only minor paint dents. It was serviced every 500 miles (800 km) and currently has around 5,150 miles (8,300 km) under its belt.
