The modern Porsche 911 (992) is quite a sales hit in China, and one client from that country asked German tuner DMC to make his car stand apart from those of his friends.
After reviewing the options, the team decided to settle for a light retro look taking cues from the 2006 Porsche 911 (997) GT3 RS. That one had a widened track at the rear and a massive ducktail spoiler that increased drag, but improved downforce and corner stability.
DMC scanned the original spoiler in 3D and produced a highly accurate replica tailored to the size of the 992, with an additional rear wing on top of it. Like the OEM part, the replica offers flexible angle adjustment options to suit every scenario, be it daily driving, touring or track day runs. Granted, this tuned entry-spec 992 is no GT3 RS, but there is still no denying its unique charms.
