You may have been fooled into thinking this vivid yellow sports car is a genuine Porsche 911 GT2, but it is actually a regular 911 Turbo styled up a bit at Virtuoso Performance. It has around 67,500 km (42,000 miles) under its belt and is up for grabs at Bring-a-Trailer right now with the bidding at $80,000 at the time of writing.
The car rolled off the assembly line in 1996 and underwent most of its tuning five years ago. Additions included custom bumpers and fender flares, an upsized rear wing with air intakes, and a recognizable yellow livery referencing that of the Penske Racing Team.
Stock wheels also went away, making room for 18-inch Speedline rollers shod in Michelin Pilot Sport N4 tires. An earlier round of tuning saw the OEM suspension springs traded for Bilstein coilovers and brake calipers painted red.
The interior is trimmed with black leather and houses power-adjustable seats. Listed features include climate control and cruise control, and the photos also reveal a MOMO steering wheel draped in Alcantara. Things stay largely stock under the hood, except for an upgraded intercooler and tweaked engine software.
