Porsche 911 Hybrid spied with odd prototype headlights

It is only a matter of time before the Porsche 911 Hybrid comes out. We learned not long ago that it would be a mild hybrid due to weight considerations, and now, a pre-production sample has been caught on camera.

The car was spotted on the Nürburgring with what looked like weird round LED DRLs in the corners of its front fascia. We struggle to imagine the final production car wearing anything like this to the street.

Other noteworthy elements include vertical louvers in the front air intakes and tailpipes grouped in the middle. The cabin draws attention to a roll cage installed instead of a rear seat row.

Porsche expects EVs to be responsible for around 80 percent of its annual vehicle sales by 2030. The 718 Boxster and Cayman models will say goodbye to internal combustion in 2025, and the same fate lies in store for the Macan.
