Porsche 911 Turbo S undergoes treatment at Brabus

Brabus no longer has the reputation of a dedicated Mercedes tuner, instead searching for more and more performance cars to play with. Its latest project is this open-top Porsche 911 Turbo S with a host of visual and technical mods.

The name choice – Brabus 820 – is not coincidental: the car rocks dual Brabus turbos under the hood that lift its output values to 820 PS (809 hp / 603 kW) and 950 Nm (701 lb-ft) of torque. An exhaust system made of Inconel alloy ensures proper outflow, while an unexpectedly tame-looking body kit presses the car firmly to the ground at higher accelerations.

Speaking of acceleration: the convertible snaps off the spot and hits 100 km/h (62 mph) in 2.5 seconds, while the top speed lies as high up as 340 km/h (211 mph). Needless to say, flooring the pedal without a helmet on is not advisable.

Customers can also go for a less extreme version of the car with 720 PS (710 hp / 529 kW) under the hood. Both come with a fully customizable interior; the black and red trim shown here is but one possibility.
