Singer Vehicle Design, a famous U.S.-based restorer of Porsche classics, has shown yet another masterwork to the world: the 911 Big Sur.
The coupe comes painted in a blue-orange combo reminiscent of the Gulf Oil livery that Porsche racecars used to wear decades ago. The body has been painstakingly restored to look and feel as close to the original as possible.
In turn, the interior offers power-adjustable sport seats and custom dash gauges. Dark off-red woven leather covers the door panels, the seats and the front panel, creating a pleasant contrast with black leather trim on the seat backs and other details.
Powering the restomod is a Singer 4.0 flat-six rated at 395 PS (390 hp / 291 kW) and 427 Nm (315 lb-ft) of torque. Partnered up with a five-speed manual transmission, the custom-built engine takes the vehicle 0-60 mph (0-97 km/h) in 3.3 seconds.
