Porsche 911 GTS now available with TechArt upgrades

TechArt is a quality-oriented aftermarket company offering unique upgrades for individual modifications of the Porsche 911, and this package for the GTS is the their finished product.

There are improvements both aesthetic and technical, but let’s start with the body kit. It incorporates an enlarged splitter, a carbon-fiber hood cover, additional air vents around the front bumper and sleek aerodynamic side sills. For the rear end, you can choose between a dominant static rear wing or a more modest-looking spoiler that retains the active wing functionality of the original.

The arches at the front and the rear are occupied by 20- and 21-inch Formula VII centerlock wheels, respectively. Customers who would rather consider a different model are welcome to check out two alternatives called Daytona II and Formula V.

Photos should give you a clear idea of the proposed interior trim – after all, you can go all-out custom here – so let’s just jump straight to the engine. The engine is a stock 3.0-liter flat-six turbo boosted to 567 PS (560 hp / 417 kW) and 670 Nm (494 lb-ft) of torque. Bolstered like this, the coupe needs 3.1 seconds for the standard sprint – a third of a second faster than stock. The top speed lies at 320 km/h (199 mph).

You can get a better idea about the kit and its associated pricing if you visit the TechArt website and use the in-built configurator.
