There is much to be said about the latest Porsche 911 Turbo S needing a qualified racing driver more than it ever needed another power boost, but the German team of tuning specialists from G-Power thought you could as well go with both.
In case you forgot, Porsche’s latest and greatest 911 utilizes a 3.7-liter flat-six engine capable of 650 PS (641 hp / 478 kW). After improving the cooling system and replacing the exhaust system with a sporty catalyst-equipped one, G-Power managed to squeeze the block for 800 PS (789 hp / 588 kW). The torque simultaneously went up from 800 to 950 Nm (from 590 to 701, respectively).
Tuned like this, the car needs 2.3 seconds to hit 60 miles per hour (97 km/h) and, more impressively, less than 5 seconds to double that acceleration, something that may come in handy when driving on the track.
