Porsche established a regional branch in Taiwan in 1972 and sold its first customer there a 911E model. To mark the 50th anniversary, the company has produced a unique 911 GTS, which is now heading to a charity auction.
The birthday-themed Carrera wears a tint of green similar to that of the 911E mentioned above. The company says it also symbolizes the abundant evergreen flora of the island.
Among other things, the one-off special edition boasts white graphics on its lower doors, a Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur logo on the glass and red brake calipers.
The coupe rides on green-rimmed centerlock wheels and boasts aluminum kick plates with an anniversary inscription on them. Yet another logo can be found on the center console. The trim is largely based on Alcantara and leather.
