Porsche has published some official photos of its updated Porsche 911 GT3 RS supercar. The vehicle comes equipped with the strongest naturally-aspirated engine in the entire street-legal vehicle line of the German brand.
The modernized Porsche 911 GT3 RS coupe comes with a four-liter, six-cylinder engine whose performance was raised to 520 hp from 500 hp. The same obviously applies to its torque, which used to be 460 Newton-meters, but no data thereto has been provided by the manufacturer.
The upgraded engine gets the car going at 100 km/h (62 mph) in mere 3.2 seconds – a further 1/10 of a second better than its predecessor could. Its top going speed is limited at 312 km/h (194 mph).
Apart from the things mentioned above, the new Porsche 911 GT3 RS comes to the showrooms with a revised rear-wheel control system and an improved aerodynamic body kit. Sporty-looking safety belts and an aluminum roll cage are available as options.
