Check out the RUF Speedster, the one and only

As we reported a week ago, RUF attended the Monterey Car Week this year with a hill-climbing Porsche 911 dubbed “The Bergmeister”. Actually, the talented team of tuners had another cool vehicle on display – the one-off Speedster we are going to look at now.

Powering the topless ride is a normally aspirated four-liter flat-six engine driving the rear wheel with 410 PS (404 hp / 302 kW) and 415 Nm (306 lb-ft) of torque. The transmission is six-speed manual, and the drivetrain makes use of dry-sump lubrication.

It seems like RUF never stated the specific acceleration capabilities of the restomod, but you can make your own guess by looking at the sports-grade brake calipers with large perforated rotors. There is also a light body kit comprising two aprons and side skirts. The cabin comes draped in leather and Alcantara and has new dash gauges, as well as aluminum pedal pads.

It is unclear what fate lies in store for the RUF Speedster, which appears to be not on sale at the moment.
