Manhart ramps up Porsche 911 Turbo S output to 833 PS

Few cars can boast being quite as fast and powerful as the Porsche 911 Turbo S, but someone at Manhart reasoned that it never hurts to have a little bit extra.

The tuner’s latest project is called TR 800 and targets the Porsche 911 (992) coupe equipped with a 3.8-liter flat-six engine. A new pair of turbochargers, a highly efficient intercooler, a stainless-steel exhaust system and a tuned ECU allow the engine to start pumping out stellar 833 PS (822 hp / 613 kW) and 965 Nm (712 lb-ft) of torque – an improvement of 183 PS (180 hp / 135 kW) and 165 Nm (122 lb-ft) over the original.

Once the transmission gets its own share of improvements as well, the sports car has no trouble reaching 100 km/h (62 mph) from standstill in 2.7 seconds and hit 330 km/h (205 mph) in a straight line.

Other notable modifications include a 30mm (1.2-inch) suspension lowering thanks to H&R springs, forged wheels sized 21” front and 22” rear, and minor interior retouches. As for the striking orange-and-black body, it was largely modified using aero parts by Russian tuning shop TopCar.
