Sportec-tuned Porsche 992 Turbo S brings 850 horses to the racetrack

Tuning company Sportec has attended this week’s Zurich Auto Show in Switzerland with a complex set of upgrades for the Porsche 911 (992) Turbo S making it an even more desirable track weapon for the demanding driver.

The core upgrade concerns the engine, which goes up to 850 PS (838 hp / 625 kW) and 970 Nm (715 lb-ft) of torque. The list of components to be replaced includes both turbos, the intercooler and other key parts. There is no mention of dynamic performance yet, but that may be because the tuning is still not finished: Sportec hopes to squeeze even more power and torque from the flat-six mill.

Other than that, the sports car rides on upgraded suspension dropped by 30 mm (1.2 inches), makes use of performance brakes and sports Mono 10 Evo forged wheels in the arches sized 20” front and 21” rear.

The interior boasts a custom leather/Alcantara makeover and comes with two Recaro bucket seats customizable to match the constitution of the driver and co-driver.
