Check out Singer’s new restomod factory

Singer, a worldwide famous creator of gorgeous Porsche 911 restomods, has let the Top Gear crew inside its freshly built factory in Torrance, CA. What used to be a small restoration workshop has evolved into a sprawling industrial site 10,600 sq. m. (115,000 sq. ft.) large.

According to the CEO of the company, all cars to be restored are disassembled outside of the factory premises due to the sheer amount of dust and dirt let loose in the process. Only meticulously cleaned parts make it to the factory for further processing.

Singer makes sure to individualize the interior of every car it builds, sometimes taking as long as several months to finish just one car depending on the difficulty of the task and the customer’s requirements. All operations are performed manually.
