Any Plaid-spec Tesla is a formidable opponent in any drag race. Only few stock cars can ever hope to outpace the electric monster; luckily for this Porsche 911 Turbo S, it is far from stock.
In the latest video by DragTimes, the sports car comes to the strip prepared. It has upgraded turbos and new equipment on board that lets it hit the wheels with 910 PS (898 hp / 669 kW). The nominal power at the crank must be more than 1,000 metric horsepower.
An eight-speed dual-clutch transmission carries the momentum to all four wheels. In turn, the Tesla Model X Plaid makes do with its three-motor system rated at 1,020 PS (1,006 hp / 750 kW).
