Singer launches a limited-run wristwatch priced at $78k

Singer Vehicle Design is a restoration shop renowned for its immaculate Porsche 911 restomods, but the same company took part in designing the Porsche 963 for the 24 Hours of Le Mans a while ago. It has now produced a wristwatch series to commemorate that car.

Only 24 Endurance Edition timepieces will be made and sold at U.S. $78,000 each. The base timepiece is Singer Track1, which comes in an anodized titanium casing and ceramic time-of-day indicators. A 24-hour analog watch face resides in the middle. The mechanism comprises 477 parts and is encrusted with 67 jewels.

As a footnote, the Porsche 963 is a racecar that utilizes a 4.6-liter V8 rated at 680 PS (671 hp / 500 kW).
