Check out an extreme tuned Porsche 911 limited to 10 units

SSR Performance has unveiled a project that it called GT: working with the Porsche 911 Turbo, the team gave it a major power surplus and drastically different aerodynamics. Only 10 such cars will be produced.

The standard engine received turbocharger improvements, a new intake system, an intercooler, a custom exhaust and better ECU software. SSR claims it tested the result on a dyno, a racetrack and public roads to ensure efficiency. Once upgraded, the output went up to 860 PS (848 hp / 633 kW) and 950 Nm (701 lb-ft) of torque. The top speed rose by 20 km/h (12 mph) to 340 km/h (211 mph), and the tuner says it is an artificial limitation dictated by safety requirements.

Also installed on the Turbo GT are performance brakes and adjustable racing shocks, as well as 20-inch front wheels and 21-inch rear ones.

The aerodynamic kit underwent rigorous testing in the wind tunnel before being approved into production. The car ended up with new bumpers, canards, hood cover and a plethora of other parts. Carbon plating was added to the undercarriage, and a large rear wing was installed. SSR claims the whole package generates up to three times as much downforce as the standard body kit.

Customers are free to customize the body color and the interior trim of their Turbo GT.
