Video: Porsche 911 Dakar vs. Lamborghini Huracan Sterrato

Those in the market for an off-road-capable supercar aren’t spoiled for choice, but they still get two great vehicles to choose between – the Porsche 911 Dakar and the Lamborghini Huracan Sterrato. Both debuted not too long ago, and now, the Carwow team decided to compare them on smooth asphalt.

Starting with the Lamborghini, it packs a 5.2-liter naturally aspirated V10 and directs 610 PS (602 hp / 449 kW) along with 560 Nm (413 lb-ft) of torque to the wheels. In turn, the Porsche makes do with a much smaller 3.0-liter flat-six unit that gives it 480 PS (473 hp / 353 kW) and 570 Nm (420 lb-ft) of torque. The superior torque curve might still give it an advantage in a drag race.

Lamborghini specifies that the Sterrato needs 3.4 seconds for its sprint from zero to 100 km/h (62 mph) and maxes out at 260 km/h (161 mph). The 911 Dakar has the same quoted sprint time, but hits its speed ceiling at 240 km/h (149 mph).
