The German sports car maker has officially announced that it will do its best to keep the manual transmission alive in vehicles from its 911 and 718 lineups for as long as possible.
As more and more automakers ditch the stick shift – largely due to the automatic being more eco-friendly – Porsche stays fully committed to cars with three pedals. It will continue to be the case until ICE cars go completely out of sale and become history, the press release says.
