Everrati, a company known for turning classic Porsche models into EVs, has unveiled its latest creation – a sports car that looks like the famous 911 (964) 3.8 RSR. Of course, it’s just for show.
In reality, it is just a restored and electrified Porsche 911 (964) Carrera similar to the tuner’s other projects (see video). The stock flat-six engine rated at 250 PS (247 hp / 184 kW) is no longer there, replaced with a single high-end electric motor. Everrati doesn’t reveal the output, but most of its other projects have 507 PS (500 hp / 373 kW) or close. What we do know is that the car sprints from zero to 96.6 km/h (60 mph) a whole second faster than the original.
In order to keep things reasonably light, the battery is not too big at 63 kWh and still enough for 322 km (200 miles) of driving. You can freely charge it from DC and AC sources, including a power socket at home.
For the regular 964 to resemble the legendary RSR version, it was given a widebody kit and special 18-inch HRE wheels with red brake calipers behind the spokes. The interior received a makeover in leather and a roll cage instead of the rear seats.
The track-focused 3.8 RSR came out in 1993 in a production run capped at 51 units.
