The Porsche 911 Turbo S rightfully counts among the world’s fastest supercars. The team of RaceChip Chiptuning GmbH & Co. KG still decided to give it an engine upgrade.
In its production version, the Porsche 911 Turbo S engine yields up to 580 hp (433 kW) and 700 Nm (516 lb·ft) of torque. The car bolts from standstill to 100 km/h (62 mph) in less than three seconds and can eventually reach 330 km/h (205 mph).
Once retrofitted with the RaceChip engine control unit, it became capable of producing up to 615 hp (459 kW) and 900 Nm (664 lb·ft). This may not seem like much, but consider that the upgrade makes it stronger than the top-spec S Exclusive. Furthermore, the car now accelerates from 100 to 200 km/h (62 – 125 mph) in trifling 6.4 seconds.
