Porsche 911 GT3 RS shows up on detailed spy photos

The new Porsche 911 GT3 RS runs low-temperature driving tests in Sweden right now, and the latest portion of unofficial shots from there provides a very solid overview of the car.

As you may see, the engineering crew pays great attention to aerodynamic performance. Every corner of the front end has tape glued all over it, suggesting that there is much there the company wants to hide until it is ready. The hood vents are noticeably larger than on the standard 911, and the lower doors are sculpted differently. Notice also the large overlays on the rear fenders, obviously concealing air intakes.

Moving on to the rear end, there is a rear wing standing on swan-neck supports. The supports are also wrapped to conceal their structure. Plenty of tape is also used on the rear bumper.

According to unofficial reports, the GT3 RS runs on the same four-liter flat-six engine as the current generation. It allegedly produces a little bit more power than the current model’s 520 PS (513 hp / 382 kW).

The reveal is expected further into 2022.
