Renowned German tuning expert TechArt already has many Porsche body kits and accessories in its portfolio, but this is the first time it targets the track-focused GT3 model with an aerodynamic kit and lightweight rims. Sales will begin this summer.
With this upgrade, the already-sportiest 911 on the market gains carbon fiber fender extensions, arches widened by 15mm (0.6”), an airflow-friendly hood, and completely new front and rear ends. The parts are compatible with both the standard 911 GT3 and the Touring version. Finish options are limited to clear lacquer and “forged carbon” look.
A separate mention goes to Techart Formula VII wheels installed here in sizes 20”x9” front and 21”x11.5” rear. As such, they are the same diameter as the OEM ones, but slightly narrower and weigh less. Customers can choose both the finish and the spoke design; the example shown here has a rather elaborate ornament of five asymmetrical triplets of spokes.
Last but hardly least, the tuner offers full interior customization. The shop uses a combination of Alcantara, leather, carbon fiber and classic textile in its work, but you can go for a more exotic cabin look if you want it.
Prices are pending. TechArt says most components will be available separately from the kit.
