Gooding & Company will be holding an auction on March 2–3, 2023 dedicated to this 12-year-old Porsche 911 GT3 RS with less than 4,000 km (2,500 miles) under its belt. The owner had it tuned for track day fun, but the mods should be entirely reversible.
From the technical point of view, the car is a 997.2-gen example dating back to 2011. This means it relies on a 3.8-liter flat-six engine rated at 450 PS (444 hp / 331 kW) for propulsion.
The previous owner put a full-sized roll cage inside the cabin along with Sparco bucket seats, racing harnesses and a three-spoke OMP wheel. They also replaced the stock rims with BBS forged wheels sporting seven Y-shaped pairs of spokes, installed carbon-fiber doors and lightened the glass all around, too. Rounding off the list is an aftermarket shifter from Numeric Racing.
The vehicle comes bundled with the full package of replaced OEM parts, meaning whoever buys it should have no trouble whatsoever reverting it to stock.
