YouTuber JCviggen1 has posted a video shot from the cabin of a Porsche 911 (991.2) GT3. An experienced racing driver with around 400 Nürburgring laps behind his shoulders took the sports car through its courses and ended up with an impressive lap time of 6 minutes 58 seconds.
The 911 GT3 has a manual transmission and a four-liter engine churning out 500 PS (493 hp / 368 kW) and 460 Nm (339 lb-ft) of torque. The official specs state it takes 3.8 seconds to launch with the stick shift. Opting for Porsche’s PDK transmission cuts the sprint time down to just 3.2 seconds.
Note that this particular car had a somewhat worn set of Pirelli Trofeo R tires on it. This affected the grip, but the driver still managed to show an impressive lap time.
