Have a look at a car paint that can be quickly removed if necessary

YouTuber Mr JWW has posted a video recently showing a strongly modified Porsche 911 GT3 getting its next respray in San Marino Blue. The truly interesting thing here is that the paint coat is fully removable and doesn’t damage the underlying finish at all.

Before we begin, let’s be clear: it’s a paint, not a vinyl wrap. Logic, a UK-based company that patented its Removable Paint, explains that it consists of a ceramic-reinforced flexible lacquer that protects the car’s original paint from scratches and even auto-fills any minor defects by spreading evenly over the bodywork. Should the owner get tired of the new look, they can go back to the shop and have the paint peeled off gently.

The catalog lists dozens of color and surface options, including matte, high gloss and everything in between. The company can even source Porsche and Ferrari colors from its extensive supplier network.

The vehicle in the gallery and the video here has plenty of other mods as well. These include a JCR Developments exhaust system, new wheels, orange brake calipers and carbon fiber trim pieces all around. The interior is orange as well, re-trimmed in suede and fabric with blue carbon accents throughout, and has new safety belts.
