Manthey Racing strips camo off its Porsche 911 GT3 RS

The tuning pros over at Manthey Racing are known for designing Porsches capable of smashing through Nürburgring lap records without any added engine power. This Porschе 911 GT3 RS is their latest creation, and it has just dropped all camo.

Just as a reminder, Manthey normally never messes with engines, preferring to fine-tune the aerodynamics and the chassis instead. The car seen here is a prime example of this approach. It rocks a humongous rear wing with enlarged side elements, has front bumper canards and as many as eight roof fins instead of the stock two. There is a solid panel where the rear window used to be, drag-reducing covers on the rear wheels, and a giant diffuser at the rear end that almost touches the asphalt.

The lap result of this Manthey GT3 RS remains unknown. A while ago, the company worked its magic on a GT2 RS, letting it lap up the North Loop 8.45 seconds faster than the stock car.
