This Porsche 918 Spyder, which is currently being sold online with a top bid at 1,200,500 CAD (933,500 USD), has only 1,550 km (963 miles) on the odo, making it some of the lowest-mileage 918 Spyder models in existence.
The price record for this specific Porsche is held by a 918 Spyder with five times the mileage, which did not prevent it from bringing its seller $1,405,000 USD. This one could end up costing even more. Autoevolution believes it might reach the price point of other high-end hybrid supercars, like the Ferrari LaFerrari or the McLaren P1.
The car comes finished in silver with a black interior trim interspersed with green accents. The caliper are also green, a way for Porsche to highlight its hybrid nature.
A 4.6-liter naturally aspirated eight-cylinder under the hood operates in tandem with two electric motors for 887 PS (875 hp / 652 kW) total. Sprinting from zero to 100 km/h (62 mph) takes 2.6 seconds, but the owner says experienced test pilots managed to launch it in 2.2 seconds. Hitting the second hundred kilometers per hour (124 mph) is a matter of 7.2 seconds. All-electric range is limited to 30 km (18.6 miles). Only 918 units were assembled in total.
