A Porsche 928 graveyard discovered in South California

Steve Roads, who found at least 13 rare and old Porsche 928 vehicles decaying slowly in a deserted area, says their owner doesn’t mind them staying there and won’t sell them.

Roads randomly bumped into the collection as he was surveying the area for a suitable spot to film his TV show episode. As you can see from the photos, cars of all trim levels produced in different years were abandoned these. Dry climate and special preservation technologies Porsche applied to their bodies have kept them nearly rust-free, but their condition is, understandably enough, still a far cry from perfect.

In his Facebook post, Roads pointed out that he knew the owner of the sports car collection, who apparently kept buying them and just piling them there one after another. He eventually lost interest in expanding his collection, but did not feel like parting with it. He emphasized that the territory was fenced and guarded against intruders.
