Porsche has teamed up with LA-based company Backdrop to launch a selection of wall paints precisely matching the colors of some Porsche cars. The palette currently consists of four vivid and cheerful tones.
Irish Green has been in the German automaker’s portfolio for 59 years now and was put on the 1,000,000th example of the Porsche 911 that rolled off the assembly line in 2017. Riviera Blue is an option for 911 Carrera RS, among others, and Ruby Star is what the 953 Paris-Dakar racer wore to the track. Along with Speed Yellow, Ruby Star is considered one of the most popular custom colors among Porsche customers.
Backdrop is selling the paints in gallon (roughly 3.8-liter) cans at $75 a pop.
