Kars4Kids, a charity organization, has recently received a so-so gift: an old Porsche 944 in downright terrible condition. No worries, an experienced restorer fixed it up in two days’ time!
Larry Kosilla, the author of Ammo NYC channel on YouTube, decided to test his tuner talents as well as endurance when he agreed to attempt restoring this filthy, decayed Porsche 944 to a near-stock appearance and functionality. This inevitably implied redoing the entire body, cabin and powertrain. He succeed, though!
As you can see on the video, Kosilla took the car apart almost down to the last screw, repairing the worn-out parts and cleaning/oiling the rest. Once the drivetrain and the cabin were finished, he refreshed the paintwork.
Kars4Kids had originally planned to sell the sports car at an auction, but willing buyers started contacting the company as soon as it posted the story online. In the end, the car found a new owner for 3,000 USD.
