The Porsche 935 is a legendary racecar in the lineup of the luxury German marque. It has claimed over 150 prizes in various prestigious races since 1984. Now DP Motorsport plans to give it a second life.
The new Porsche 935 DPIII series will be based on the 1992 Porsche 965 Turbo chassis. The latter originally shipped with a 3.3L engine at its disposal.
The new racecar will sport the same Polar livery with stripes as its spiritual ancestor, a custom body kit made of glass fiber and carbon, a stainless-steel exhaust system and a set of 18-inch wheels.
The revived 935 will be powered by a 450 hp (336 kW) engine and feature an H&R adjustable suspension design.
The interior of the Porsche 935 DPIII will be dressed in grey and black leather and house a sport-type wheel.
The pricing and availability of the Porsche 935 DPIII series will be announced later.
