Simply looking at this custom ride doesn’t say much about its origins. It seems to be a purebred sports car, but the brand name is hard to pinpoint. What, exactly, is it?
Gagliardi Design knows the answer. The tuner takes the standard Porsche Boxster S (987) – the kind that came out in 2004 through 2012 – and puts it into a full metal body that seems to take styling cues from the Jaguar F-Type, the Ferrari 458 Italia and the C7 Chevrolet Corvette all at the same time.
The chassis receives a whopping 30 cm (12 inches) of extra length to accommodate for the massive new rear, and the end result looks like a supercar – certainly not like the mundane Boxster, which is perhaps the entire point.
20-inch matte-black rims create a fascinating contrast against the white body and round off the tasteful styling.
As far as we are aware, the Gagliardi Vex currently exists in a single copy, but the tuner intends to launch conversion en masse soon.
