On September 6, Porsche will hold an online premiere of a mysterious new car, and it will be present for everyone to see at the IAA Mobility Expo set to take place in Munich on Sept. 7–12 this year.
Judging by the lone teaser pic, it could be an all-electric car somehow related to the Boxster and Cayman. Note especially the yellow/orange headlight section: the first-gen Boxster and the 911 (996) produced back in 1997–2006 had these peculiar ‘scrambled egg’ headlights.
Right now, the Porsche Taycan featured in our gallery and the video here is the marque’s only EV on offer. Its harbinger – the Mission E Concept – also debuted at the IAA Expo six years ago.
