Lesser-known tuner Vale Automotive has shared renderings and some early photos of an upcoming body kit for the Porsche Boxster that completely changes how it looks and feels.
Entitled ‘Porsche GT1’, the car resembles the Taycan and the 911 GT1 Strassenversion alike while taking advantage of engineering solutions found in the Bugatti Chiron Super Sport, the company claims.
The kit consists of flared front fenders merged with the bumper, Taycan-style headlights, and prominent side sill extensions. The rear end is even wilder with its massive aerodynamic structure that Vale says improves aerodynamic performance greatly. Apparently, a similar design approach was used in creating the record-breaking Chiron Super Sport mentioned above, as well as some ‘long-tailed’ McLaren models.
Found at the rear end are new exhaust tips, LED taillights, a fin-like aero part, and a diffuser.
Interestingly enough, while the donor car is a roadster, the initial renderings show what looks like a fixed-top coupe with an air scoop on the roof. Any performance mods remain to be announced.
According to Vale, work is already underway, and the first example will be complete in January. Sales will start a month after that.
