The full name of this car should go along the lines of ‘Safari Porsche 911 (930) 3.2 Carrera’, but its owner lovingly calls it Willy. The retro-styled ride rolled off the assembly line in 1984 and has had several owners, but it wasn’t until Andy Kilcoyne, founder of U.S. auto shop Kelly-Moss, bought it that things got truly interesting.
The sporty coupe was essentially turned into a hardcore rally car with enviable cross-country potential. For starters, the tuner redesigned the entire suspension from scratch. Then new aluminum bumpers were added, followed by a Black Oak LED bar spanning 750 millimeters (almost 30 inches) wide.
Andy then added a roof rack and out a spare wheel on it, which made Willy look like a dandy in a fancy hat. Be sure to view our entire gallery and watch the video (both courtesy of Kelly-Moss), you will be impressed!
The unique off-roader rides on a set of 17-inch BRAID Fuchs replicas clad in BF Goodrich All-Terrain KO LT245/65/R17 rubber.
The cabin, predictably enough, holds Recaro seats along with a sturdy roll bar.
Okay, how do you like Willy?
