2004 Porsche Carrera GT Coupe bid to $1.35M in the USA

This Porsche Carrera GT has only 342 miles (550 kilometers) of use to show for its 17-year long existence, so there is no wonder the bidding has already reached $1,355,000 USD.

The seller claims that the car was one out of 644 such coupes legally imported into the States, and never changed hands since. Some of the parts still retain their OEM wrapping.

Power comes from a 5.7-liter ten-cylinder engine originally developed for use in racecars, but ultimately given to a road-legal supercar. Manufacturer-rated at 612 PS (603 hp / 450 kW), it links to a six-speed manual gearbox, enabling a top speed of 330 km/h (205 mph). The sprint from zero to 100 km/h (0-62 mph) succeeds in under four seconds. The seller mentions that, despite the low mileage, the engine has recently been dismantled for its scheduled maintenance.

The winner of the auction will get the full set of accompanying items, including a manual, travel bags, and an OEM car cover.
