This Porsche Carrera GT is the 940th out of 1,270 units built, and will be heading to the auction this spring with 293 km (182 miles) under its belt. A similar example with 400 km (248 miles) of use on it brought home $2 million last month, and this one might just surpass it.
Adding to the exclusivity is the fact that it is one out of only 64 US-spec Carrera GTs finished in Seal Gray. The interior combines Terracotta leather with carbon fiber and is in excellent condition, per the seller.
Like any normal Carrera GT (watch the video for a review), this one uses a 5.7-liter V10 mated to a six-speed manual transmission and the rear axle. 612 PS (603 hp / 450 kW) enable it to sprint 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in less than four seconds.
Just how many owners the car had and why it was not driven remains unexplained. The winning bidder will be getting an OEM full-body cover and a bag set tailored to make the best use out of the Carrera GT trunk compartment.
The German supercar set two new price records in January. Aside from the one we mentioned above, there was also a red GT model with over 1,200 km (750 miles) on the odo. It managed to sell for $1.9 million USD, but the record held for only a week.
