The 3.0-liter single-turbo V6 makes 335 horsepower and 332 pound-feet of torque, and though it doesn’t seem like a big improvement on the old naturally aspirated 3.6-liter V6 with 300 hp and 295 lb-ft, the way the turbo mill’s torque hits in the low- and mid-ranges never left me wanting quicker acceleration. The manufacturer-quoted 0-60 miles-per-hour time of 5.9 seconds (or 5.6 seconds with Sport Chrono, an option equipped on our test vehicle) is about 1.5 seconds quicker than the previous model.
