Porsche Cayenne diesel SUV rolls out for a desert ride

It is no secret that the Porsche Cayenne is a ‘soft-roader’ with few off-road capabilities to speak of, but E-Motion Engineering felt like seeing if it could make for a viable desert build with a few upgrades.

The tuner took a diesel-powered Cayenne and fitted it with a number of custom components, including a bull bar, aluminum skid plates and protective padding. Rather than fasten the armor on body panels using common bolts, the team went through the pain of attaching everything to the frame in order to reinforce the body as much as possible. Commendable!

Further additions included a roof rack, auxiliary lighting, a spare wheel at the rear end, a snorkel pipe, KW suspension, and an optimized exhaust system. Rounding off the list are beadlock-protected wheels wrapped in Falken Wildpeak A/T3W tires.
